'Invalid Online Enquiries Credentials' when entering in Online Enquiries

The first thing to check is the time on your machine is not 5 minutes out in either direction. If it is, this will need to be changed, as Online Enquiries will not connect until the date and time are within this tolerance.

Secondly go to:

  1. Options tab and then choose Online Enquiries

  2. Check there is a username populated in the Enquiry User Name field and it is the correct Username (check with a colleague if unsure).

  3. If this is blank copying only the username will not work, you must have the password. populated as well (******* is displayed whether there is a password set or not.)

  4. If you need the password and no colleague can provide it, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.

If you are using a Network install, there will probably be a default configuration you can copy the Online Enquiries settings file from. Ensure you know where your configuration folder is and that you're using the correct one.

If you are not on a network install, not sure where your configuration folder is, or do not have a stored default configuration please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.

If the time/date is correct and you have an Enquiry User Name listed check you have an Internet connection and that your proxy settings, if relevant, are correct. Your IT should be able to tell you what these settings are, and these can be entered at the bottom of the Online Enquiries settings under Proxy Settings. If the proxy settings need to be entered, select Manual to enable these text boxes.

Some or all of the addresses required by ConQuest may not be allowed through your proxy/firewall. The running requirements detail what must be allowed, please provide these to your IT.

If clicking on Enquiries does not detail an option for Online Enquiries, please continue with a support member.
