When your licence is due for renewal and has been paid for, you should be emailed update instructions, but they may go to someone else within your organisation. Notifications of the Licence Expiry will start 7 days before the end of the month.
If the key is on your own machine, you should have an application with a name starting ConQuest Licence Update on your desktop. Run this, select 'update existing licence' and then do Collect Information. Save this file with a suitable name and email it in. You will shortly be sent a slightly different file to apply, using the second tab of the application.
If your licence is on a server, the process is the same but will need to be done by someone who is able to access the server's desktop (not the file share) and run the application there.
If you get the message Could not access sentinel protection key then you are probably on the wrong server. If you aren't sure which server the licence is on load http://localhost:1947 on any machine with ConQuest installed and look at the Sentinel Keys section - this will give the name of the server hosting the licence or state local if it is on the current server.
If you get a message stating that another update must be applied first, please reply to the licence update email and request a copy of the previous version. If you cannot find this email or it was sent to someone else, please continue with a support member.
If you get a message stating could not determine the version of the License Manager then you are probably using an old version of the update application. Delete it and get the latest one from https://downloads.conquest.ltd.uk/QSeries.html
