Local Licence Key:
If you are using a physical USB dongle or softkey installed on a local machine please see the steps below:
Check the USB Device is plugged into the machine and has a Red Light indicator.
If there is no red light, try using another USB port or contact support (the dongle maybe faulty).
Navigate to http:\\localhost:1947, If nothing happens:
Check the Sentinel LDK service is running
If the service is not there or a restart does not refresh the web page - Reinstall the driver (Locate knowledge Article: Reinstall Driver )
Navigate to http:\\localhost:1947 , if the site is visible, select Sentinel Keys (Left menu) if the licence Key is listed and in date, check your Antivirus as it may be interfering.
If the antivirus is running, try switching it off temporarily and test again
Network Licence Key:
If you are using a physical USB dongle or softkey installed on a server please see the steps below:
First, check that your network connection is OK, especially if you are running across a VPN.
Navigate to http://localhost:1947 , if the website does not open:
Check the Sentinel LDK service is running and if not, start it.
If the service is not there, or if you cannot start or a restart the service or it does not refresh - Reinstall the driver.
Navigate to http://localhost:1947 , if the website is visible, on the left, click Sentinel Keys:
If the Licence key is displayed - re-try opening the application
If the Licence key is displayed - re-try opening the application - if you receive the same error:
Navigate to http://localhost:1947, if the licence is displayed, on the left, click Sentinel Keys, then click Features and check all licences are not being used. For example: 6 licences on Key and there is a 7th person trying to connect. This feature may not be accessible from client machines.
Check for antivirus, If antivirus is running switch it off temporarily and test again
Navigate to http://localhost:1947, if the website is visible, on the left, click Sentinel Keys:
If you get this message 'Table Empty' Navigate to Configuration then Access to remote Licence Managers.
Select the Aggressive search check box. In the search parameters enter the Server Name of machine hosting the licence (if you do not know the server name please contact support) click Submit. Wait for a few minutes. On the left, click Sentinel Keys and a Licence should be displayed - re-try opening the application.
