Print/Export an unpriced bill

Would like to Print/Export an unpriced bill of quants.

There are a few different ways to complete this function:

To Print:

  1. Open Reports, Estimating, Print Bill

  2. Press OK to Price type message

  3. Select Unpriced Bill from Other Options Section, Press OK

  4. This will produce a report with the Ref, Description, Qty and Unit Columns populated. The Rate and Extension column will be visible but blank.

To Export Option 1 (No Formulas):

  1. Open Input/Output, Estimating, Excel, Job

  2. Press OK, Save the File

  3. Remove the additional Columns

To Export Option 2 (No Formulas):

  1. Open Estimating

  2. Click on the View In Excel Icon (top right of view screen)

  3. Tick Unpriced

  4. Press OK and Save File

  5. Open File and all columns visible within the View window will be displayed including the Rate and Extension column but they will be empty as will all Totals, summary totals etc

To Export Option 3 (With formulas only with Online Enquiries module):

  1. Open Enquiries, Online Enquiries

  2. Create a sendout

  3. In Trade Packages, Create Bills for all trades

  4. On the Far right column select Show Q Files

  5. Double click on the Trade Bill allocated to the selected trade to remove it and it will reappear on the right menu

  6. Highlight all Files and right click, Export Selected to a location of your choice.

  7. This will export Formatted Trade Bills with Formulas for the Rate and Extension columns.
