Exporting Bill Sections to Excel

How do you export specific Bill Items to excel?

The easiest was is use the Range, Flags option to Flag all required items this can then be used as part of the search function to then export exactly what is required.

There is an option to search using the Resource name but this would give an export for all items with that resource not just a bill (unless only a specific resource has been used on a specific bill)

Non Resourced Items:

  1. Ensure the Column for flags is active

  2. Range, Select Bill (must be highlighted in the specific bill needed)

  3. Range, Flags, Select a Flag not used elsewhere, click Add, OK

  4. Only highlighted items will now display a flag

  5. You can use the View in Excel function or the Input/output, Estimating, Excel, Job function to search for a flag and export only those items.

Resourced Items using View in Excel function

  1. Go to Search, List, Select the required resource, OK (to save resource), OK

  2. This will display only items with the specific resource

  3. Select View in Excel and save out the file containing only the items needed.

Resource Items using Export Job function:

  1. Go to Input/output, Estimating, Excel, Job

  2. Select Search, List, Select Resource required, OK (to save resource), OK

  3. Export and save the document for a list of Items only containing the Resource selected.
