Library Management and how to update a Library

A library replacement feature is available, allowing you to work on a copy of a library and replace the current version when ready.

Please note that while replacing the library and updating its content, this will not update previous/existing bills.


To replace an existing library:

  • Ensure you have admin privileges and the necessary permissions to update libraries.

  • Navigate to the library import screen.

  • Export a library with a chosen name.

  • Import a library with the same name as an existing one.

  • A message will appear, asking if you want to replace the current library.

  • Confirm the replacement to update the library with the new version.

1. Open ConQuest application.
2. Select Library module.

3. Go to Settings.

4. Make sure to have at least one library installed (e.g. ROCK).

5. Click the Export button.

Type the name of the export.

Click on the Import button.

6. Select a ROCK library to import.

7. Insert the same name as the library already present (e.g. ROCK).

When choosing Cancel, the process will be canceled without anything happening.
When choosing OK, a second warning will be displayed.

The second warning will inform the user that the process cannot be reversed and creating a backup is recommended before continuing.

When choosing Cancel, the process will be canceled without anything happening.
When choosing OK, the existing library will be replaced with a new library.

8. Library successfully imported with the same name and can be tested within the application to verify if is changed.
