To locate the standard location of your invitation to tender letters:
Under Options go to Folders
The path will be under Online Enquiry Templates.
If there are no appropriate files in the specified folder, check your settings against a colleague's, as your configuration may be incorrect for your organisation.
To add fields to the Invitation to tender letter, use the Template Helper:
Open the Word template for the ITT letter
In ConQuest under Options go to Online Enquiries
Scroll down to the Template Helper
Arrange your screen so that both the template helper and Word file are visible at the same time.
In the Template Helper click the field you wish to use to highlight it.
Drag and drop the field to the right place in the template letter.
If necessary, adjust the font and text colour.
Save the Word template and close it.
In Online Enquiries, generate an ITT letter.
Select the trade you created it against, highlight the letter and click Save A Copy.
Check if the field is displaying correctly. You may have to adjust spaces etc to get this to appear exactly as you want, note that if this refers to a field in the project register, this field must be populated.
⚠️Important: We have seen issues with letters not being able to generate which were caused by a corrupt Word file. Re-saving it solved the issue.
The Word template files must also not be open, on your machine or any other machine, in order for them to generate correctly.
If they are open, you will see copies with a ~ at the start of the file name.
