The rate on a subcontractor, except in exceptional circumstances should always be 1. However, sometimes these resources are entered into the library incorrectly and we have occasionally seen Cloned resources not pull the Rate across.
To correct this on an individual project:
Go to Analysis, Estimating, Job Resources
Find the problem resource
Check Allow Changes
Change the Rate to 1 and if required, add the Unit (£)
If you are the library manager and are correcting this in the library:
Go to Library, Resources, Amend Resources
Find the problem Resource
Check Allow Changes
Change the Rate to 1 and if required, add the Unit (£)
