Cannot Import:

Usually inability to import the file is because there is something missing. An item must have a reference, description, and unit/quantity. If an item lacks one of these, it will be treated as titling for the first valid item found.
Sections of Notes must still be treated as items, and must be complete - a Quantity/Unit of 1 Note is usual.

Issues with references:

If your references are not importing correctly, check if Use CITE Header is checked in your Bill Import options. If it's checked, try it unchecked and vice versa.

Error "Problem opening text file" received:

Try saving the file to a less complex location, such as C:\Temp. This error is sometimes given when the folder path is too long or contains invalid characters in the string.

If your quantities do not appear, check the Options at the top left of your Bill Import window. The unit and quantity may be specified the wrong way round.

"60 lines or more...." error:

This usually means the EBQ file has a large section of Descriptions with or without References and which do not have a Qty or a Unit. You will need to either delete this section or add 1 Note as the Qty/Unit to each item. The files can be opened and edited using Notepad.
