When you use ConQuest within Access Workspace, you can save any files generated within Access hosting or you can directly save them to your local PC or company network drives.
When you create a file in ConQuest, for example a report,a pop-up window appears where you can choose the location to save the file.
This PC refers to the server that runs ConQuest within Access Hosting. It's not your local PC. The Documents folder is the normal location where you store your files in Access Hosting.
Network is your company’s network and here you'll see Client\ which is your local PC. You may also see additional network drives depending on how you configured the company network.
To save the file to your PC expend Network, click Client\, find the location where you want to save the file, then click Save. You can access your location directly by selecting Local Disk or via Netwok > Client\.
If you want to save the file within Access Hosting, there are two locations we recommend you use, My Documents and Project Documentation.
My Documents
This is a location to store your files within Access Hosting. No other users will use these files, so this location is ideal for files you don't want anyone else to view or use. It can also be a useful temporary location when transferring files.
You can find it if you go This PC, then select Documents.
Project Documentation
Project Documentation is the other location for you to place files. Any other users who have access to Access ConQuest for your organisation can use this location. You can use it for any files you want to share and work on with multiple people.
You can find it in This PC, then select Project Documentation.
Note: In the above example, TST997_CONQ01 is the name of the ConQuest server. This will be slightly different for you and there can be multiple ConQuest servers your organisation uses.
