Error: 'Update failed: HASP LM version is too old' when updating the license

When I tried to update the ConQuest licence the error Update failed: HASP LM version is too old appears. When I'm trying to access a specific Project the error: Licence Error: LM too old is given

This is caused by the licence manager being out of date. You should be able to correct this by downloading and installing the latest version of the driver.

  1. Go to the Q-series downloads page and scroll down to Licensing

  2. Download the Q-Series Licence Driver

  3. Open a command prompt and navigate to the location it was saved in (or, if easier, move it to C:\temp and navigate there)

  4. Run haspdinst -i in the command prompt and wait for this to complete. It may take some time.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Reload localhost:1947, this should now have changed colour and you should be able to proceed with opening the application or updating the licence key.
