There are a number of possible causes for this, including a windows update, antivirus, or the installation/uninstallation of another application having removed or changed one of the application's dependencies.
First thing to try is re-running the last application update. To do this, open the c:\conquest q series\updateclient_status.xml with Notepad and reduce the update number (ie, if it says 101.0.0.0 change it to 100.0.0.0) then run c:\conquest q series\auclient.exe to redo the update.
Splash screen appears briefly then disappears
ConQuest won't start but there's no error message.
