This article deals with the client install. If you need to move your network install to a different server, please continue with a support member for further assistance.

For existing network installs, there's a set of instructions you can follow via the setup and ConQuest setup folder on the ConQuest network drive.

Local ConQuest install

  1. Download the installer from below:

  2. Download the driver from the Licence section under Q Series (CMD V8.15)

  3. Save this file (haspdinst.exe) to the C:\Temp folder (create if not there).

  4. Open the Command Prompt as Administrator.

  5. Enter the following commands separately, pressing Enter after each one:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32> CD\
    CD temp
    hapsdinst -i

  6. To check if this has worked, see if the webpage http://localhost:1947 opens. If it does carry on.

  7. Download the Q Series Application from the above webpage.

  8. Run the installer for ConQuest and choose Local install. Everything for ConQuest should be located on your C drive.

  9. If it's asking for activating the On-Screen Take-Off integration, tick the box for Yes if you need to install On-Screen Take-Off afterwards.

  10. Click on Next and the installation should run.

  11. If any errors about drivers appear, click on Cancel.

  12. Once installed, cancel out of the Installer (do not press on Launch).

Local Take-Off install

  1. Download the installer from below:

  2. Run the installer for OnScreen TakeOff and choose Local install.

  3. Everything for ConQuest should be located in the C:\Program Files\ConQuest\On-Screen Take-Off folder.

  4. Take-Off has an additional element called the RabbitMQ software, and this needs to be installed and configured correctly so ConQuest and Take-Off can communicate together. To do this, please continue with a support member for further assistance.

Tip: If you're setting up a local install, remember to copy the standard libraries, stored items, etc., so that all users are working from a consistent set.
If you have SQL Express, this needs to be properly backed up to transfer it to the new machine; you cannot simply copy the files. Also, this will need the Professional Services Team's attention.

Note: If you have a Network install but not the installation notes to follow, a local SQL Express install, or you are interested in someone to perform the installation for you, please continue with a support member so ConQuest support can raise it with the Professional Services Team. However, this is a chargeable service.

ConQuest Support can not perform the installation for you, but they can assist you with any errors.
If things are not going according to plan, please let us know and reference the error message you are encountering so ConQuest Support can assist you.
