Launching ConQuest displays the Splash screen for a long time

When trying to open ConQuest it sits on the splash screen for a very long time before finally opening.

There could be a few reasons for this.

  1. Check there are no message windows hiding behind the splash screen (like the update notification) waiting to be actioned.

  2. Once logged in go to Options, Online Enquiries and check if you have OLE credentials entered (If you do not have Online Enquiries as an active module these are not needed) a member of the support team can provide you with those.

  3. If you have Online Enquiries check with IT that you do not have a Proxy active, if you do you may need to enter the Proxy details into the Options, Online Enquiries tab.
