ConQuest 7.2 introduces centralised multi-factor authentication (MFA) management for Online Enquiries, an updated Dalux document integration, and a broad set of reliability and data-integrity improvements across Estimating, Comparisons, Valuations, Reports, Library, and Project Register.
New Features & Enhancements
Online Enquiries (OLE) Security
Centralised MFA configuration. MFA is now configured once at organisation level (System Options, admin only) instead of per Send Out, removing the risk of inconsistent security settings across enquiries. Existing secured Send Outs are migrated automatically to the new setting.
Streamlined enquiry publishing. The security warning dialog shown on enquiry publish has been removed, simplifying the workflow for estimators.
Restored “View Other Trades” visibility. The Restricted View option is now accessible to all users, not just admins.
Dalux Document Integration
Refactored classification to use a subfolder path structure.
New hierarchical tree view for browsing Dalux projects, folders, and files.
Admin-configurable target folder settings in System Options.
Library
Import Old Library now has full functional parity with the standard Import Library flow.
Overwrite Library functionality is now available for default libraries, and the overwrite operation now completes reliably without stale cache or duplicate data errors.
Library import performance has been significantly improved for larger libraries.
Reliability
Graceful error recovery. Certain error conditions now return the user to the Project Register instead of crashing the application.
Bug Fixes
This release also includes a broad set of stability and reliability fixes:
Project Register — improved project locking and visibility controls, more reliable project status handling, and clearer error messaging for missing libraries.
Estimating — improved handling of copied items and item referencing, and more reliable formatting on Excel import.
Comparisons — improved stability when opening comparisons and updating bills from Comparisons.
Valuations — improved stability when creating valuations, and more reliable handling of Q-Dims data.
Library — improved handling of corrupted or missing libraries, and more reliable behaviour for library copies, overwrites, and stored items.
Reports — improved accuracy and reliability of the Cost Codes, Job Resources, and Activity Code Resource reports.
Contacts & OLE — improved contact search reliability, email validation, and Usual Suspects list behaviour.
Data integrity & stability — improved reliability of Copy Project, bill operations, exports, and OLE Letters generation, plus patched security vulnerabilities in underlying components.
