Release Notes 7.0

In ConQuest v7, users now have a new way of managing access for individual projects. After enabling Project Access Control for a project, users will be able to determine:

As a side note, users that are assigned to the ‘master’ User Profile will always have full access control to any given project and that access cannot be revoked.

In addition to Project Access Control, users are now able to lock a project, thus preventing any further editing by anyone, until the project has been unlocked.

By default, users that are assigned to the ‘master’ User Profile will have access to lock/unlock any project. Like most other facilities in ConQuest, any other user profile can be granted access to this feature, enabling them to lock/unlock any of the projects that they have access to.

With ConQuest v7, users are now able to create new libraries by either copying an existing library as a starting point or creating a new one from scratch. As you can expect, these new libraries enjoy the same functionalities as the standard ones do.

After transitioning to SQL data storage, ConQuest v7 enjoys overall performance improvements, while also giving us the opportunity of developing new features and enhancing existing ones at a much faster and more reliable pace.

All the bugfixes made for ConQuest v5 and v6 have been rolled into ConQuest v7, together with the new features mentioned above, creating an even better user experience.
