Moving a ConQuest softkey

When trying to move the softkey, I get the following error message: Invalid recipient information, process cancelled

It is not possible to move a softkey if the old machine is not accessible. You would have to get that old key blocked and a new one generated.
For the softkey to be moved, please ask your IT team to follow the below steps:

  1. On the recipient machine, click on download below and run the ConQuest Licence Update Softkey application.

  2. Select the Transfer Licence tab.

  3. Click and select where to save the recipient information file.

  4. Click Collect and Save Information and you will get a completed prompt

  5. Move this file to the machine that currently hosts the softkey

  6. On the machine that currently hosts the softkey, download and run the ConQuest Licence Update Softkey application.

  7. Select the Transfer Licence tab

  8. Under Generate the licence transfer file ensure the key you want to transfer is visible

  9. Under Read the recipient information file from browse to the recipient file that you just created.

  10. Under Generate the licence transfer file to select the name and location for the file to be created.

  11. Click Generate Licence Transfer File and confirm the transfer. The file will be created.

  12. Copy this transfer file to the new licence host

  13. On the new target run the ConQuest Licence Update Softkey application again and go to Apply Licence File.

  14. Select the h2h file that you just created

  15. You will see rehost details, check that these are correct

  16. Once happy click Apply Update and wait for it to complete

  17. The key should now be on the new machine
