When in the Estimating module you must select the Rate Cell for any item and using the Right Click menu or the F Keys F8 to F12 set the items to read a predefined text in the Rate and Extension Column.
The defaults are as follows: (Options, User Defined Text, Item)
F8 Included
F9 Not Applicable
F10 By Others
F11 Note
F12 Declined
F8 and F12 we recommend you do not change as these are also used within Comparisons. Changing them will cause issues.
You can only apply the F Keys on an item that has a blank buildup. You cannot set an Item as rate only etc with resources allocated to it.
To remove them press F7 or the same F Key again.
