The first thing to try is a Check Job from the tools menu, in case there is corruption in the project.
If the Check Job doesn't report that errors have been fixed or the issue remains, check for resources where the operation is a divide, especially when the quantity is a large number - this can cause rounding issues to the point of the extension being incalculably small.
Global Adjustments is also a good place to look.
