Dims pad not completing a Unit Match

The Dims pad is not completing the unit match function. When adding two quantities in the Add/Deduct window for a M2 Item it should add a line and total the quantity after the second quantity is added and it is not doing so.

There are two Types of Dims pad. The Q-Dims superseded the Dims panel and should be the default Dims window.

The Dims panel does not use the Options menu to update the Unit information. To check the Units that have been set up in the Dims pad you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Dims Panel

  2. Select Dims, Setup

  3. Add the missing Unit and enter the Unit Count needed (Example: M2 2, M 1)

  4. Re-enter the quantity to the Add/Deduct menu and it should total correctly.

The Q-Dims panel pulls the Units from the Options, Dim Options menu. The Unit match Toggle on/off can be located on the bottom of the Q-Dims panel within estimating.

If you have checked these settings and unit match is activated try clearing the contents of the Q-Dims pad by selecting Clear, Clear All and retrying.
