If you're using a network machine, to open the web page you need to take the server name from the error message. For example http://servername:18555.
Note: We recommend you use the Google Chrome browser if you are unable to log in on http://servername:18555 when using the Microsoft Edge browser as there is currently an issue with it.
To resolve the error you're receiving:
Select the Dimtronix Licencing Manager service icon on the desktop.
If the web page doesn't open, open services on the local machine and restart the Dimtronix Licencing Manager service.
Once this is running, refresh the web page and see if the license displays a red, green or grey circle.
Red | If the circle appears red, the license is in use. To see who is using the software:
|
Green | If the circle appears green, the license is up and running and you should be able to log in. If this is green but you still can't log in, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article. |
Grey | If the circle appears grey, the license hasn't been renewed or is dormant.
|
If the circle goes green you should be able to open the application. If it doesn't, try the manual renewal process, following the on-screen instructions.
If there isno serial number just blank or 16 dots in the box:
Open Services on the local machine and restart the Dimtronix Licence Manager Service.
Once this is running, refresh the web page and see if the license has come back with a green circle.
If it has, retry the application. If not, please raise continue with a support member.
If the error message shows the incorrect location (for example it says it can't find a Standalone license and the license is located on a server) after a fresh install, then the installation type might be wrong and you need to re-do it.
If you use On-Screen Take-Off on our Hosted or MyDesk Environment, please continue with a support member.
