Go to Help, About Conquest and click View Log File.
This will open the log file, most likely in Notepad. Scroll to the bottom.

There will most likely be an error saying that the date format was not valid. If this is the case, check that your machine is not using the American date format which puts the month first. If it is, switch it to UK format and try the copy again. This time the project should copy correctly.

You may also have a message relating to issues with SQL. This is usually a timeout, but may also refer to incorrect connection status.
If you have the Project Totals set to update on every change, the copy of the comparisons on a large job may take longer than the allowed time, and therefore be rolled back. To ensure that this doesn't happen, go to Options. The Project Total settings will be at the bottom of the current panel. Put the dot into Update Only On Refresh or Disabled and Hidden and this will make the copy of Comparisons much faster and it should then complete correctly.
